I worked in a team of 5, we were 2 transport designers, 2 digital designers and me in UX design.
We worked in collaboration with the Lynk & Co brand, which gave us an initial brief and supported us throughout the project.

I don't really know how it's insured, I don't want to have any trouble with the owner.
I don't really know in what condition I'll get my car back and if he drove slowly with it.
I don't really know in advance when I can make my car available.
There are not many people who use the car sharing feature because it is not part of the culture.

DIVIDING THE FAMILY CREATE MICRO STORIES

HARMONY WITHOUT HIERARCHY

RYTHM & RESONANCE
We observed users and their behavior to define key moments in family car use.

I worked on different themes of different experience that we could develop in our concept

We worked on different ways of positioning ourselves depending on the experience we wanted to convey.

People use pods in the city.
Lynk & Co offers a new experience to live.
Get out of the city in their vehicle.
It's no longer about owning, but about renting and sharing
For a weekend or longer, you can rent a Lynk & Co.
And go on a road trip with your friends

The service offers a complete experience, but not only that. It is also an extension of the MOVA ecosystem.
I was looking for a different way to interact in a car. The principle of MOVA is to have several objects that we can send to each other.
It is a luminous textile surface which serves as an interface, it is also magnetic which allows objects to slide autonomously.
I was looking for a new way to interact with the vehicle in a shared way. The interface goes around the interior, the user can place objects on it, it slides on the fabric.
This new form of interface allows the car to provide feedback on these decisions and allows the AI to communicate with users.
Lynk & Co AI takes care of everything: booking, destination, and it sets up the car according to your wishes.
I worked on the various openings in order to offer a very open experience on the outside of the car. The objective was to add sharing features to the travel and pause experience with a real transformation when stopped.

Here are all the features of the car.
The opening system offers an ultra-open experience to the outside with an opening glass roof.
The exterior table can be deployed directly from the hood.
This vehicle is completely autonomous, Lidar is present all around the car.
To enhance the openness experience, the vehicle also offers rear entry.
The techbar is the place in the car where all the car technology is concentrated.
The techbar is a real extension of the exterior to the interior.
It is the brain of the car, the ventilation, the on-board computer, the Lidar, everything is there.
It is an experience to be lived without sleeping there, which is why everyone has a personal storage.
The MOVA ecosystem allows you to bring objects from your pod and use them here. They can slide, interact with the vehicle, or be stowed by AI.
The front bench seat can swivel to provide a differently configured space.
The left seat is designed for 2 people, driving or stationary, the seat adapts.
It is possible to tilt all the seats to switch to a new dynamic.
The rear window becomes a movie screen. You can enjoy a movie outdoors with your friends.
The car also has its revisited campfire which when it gets dark warms the interior with heat from the battery.
All is on your phone. The Lynk & Co AI accompanies you throughout the experience, you give it moods and the AI takes care of setting up the vehicle in the right mode and going to the right spot.
